Throughout Japanese history (and even today) the Japanese people have worn Hachimaki (Headbands) for a variety of reasons. Some were worn to provide spiritual protection to the wearer, some to show ones allegiance, and others to instill the wearer with a sense of pride and self confidence. Today Japanese student will often wear Hachimaki during exams or before any other stressfull event. This Hachimaki (Headband) depicts the sakura (Cherry Blossom) kamon (emblem) worn by many famous Samurai families as a symbol of the warrior path.

Made from a screen printed Polyester / Cotton blend these Hachimaki are comfortable but hard-wearing.
