The Yawara is designed to aid your fist natural strengthas well as serving as a close quarters weapon, increasing the force behind strikes, locks and pressure points. Turned from a single piece of hardwood the Yawara is as hard-wearing as it is practical. The term Yawara was also an alternative name for the art of Jujutsu, another reference to this weapons use and adaptibilty.

Shiatsu Stick

The Shiatsu Stick is primarily designed to aid the application of medicinal Shiatsu and Acupressure as well as aiding students of Acupuncture and would have traditionally been carried by practitioners of those arts. If pressed into combat however this tool of healing could quickly become a weapon for causing incredible pain. The shaped finger grips cushion the hand during strikes and the protruding parts add devastating damage to and nerve or pressure points struck with the item increasing the force behind strikes, locks and pressure points. Shaped from a single piece of hardwood the Shiatsu Stick is as hard-wearing as it is practical.

Hardwood Suntetsu

Used in a similar method to the Kubotan and yawara the Suntetsu is an unusual and rather undervalued weapon. The simple design of the Suntetsu understates its combative effectiveness. Like the Kubotan and Yawara the Suntetsu can easily be used to increase the efficiency of joint locks, pressure points and striking methods in general, but also allows the user to block weapon strikes with the palm of the hand (Although we do not recoment trying this with live weaponry!!!)

This design of Suntetsu is formed from a turned piece of hardwood fitted with a cord loop that the user wears over the middle finger.

Shaped Hardwood Suntetsu

Used in a similar method to the Kubotan and yawara the Suntetsu is an unusual and rather undervalued weapon. The simple design of the Suntetsu understates its combative effectiveness. Like the Kubotan and Yawara the Suntetsu can easily be used to increase the efficiency of joint locks, pressure points and striking methods in general, but also allows the user to block weapon strikes with the palm of the hand (Although we do not recoment trying this with live weaponry!!!)

The Emei Piercer (Emei Dagger) is an easily concealed weapon designed by the Shaolin monks of Mt Emei. Like the Kubotan and Yawara the Emei is a truly undervalued weapon. The simple design of the Emei understates its combative effectiveness. The Emei can easily be used to increase the efficiency of joint locks, pressure points and striking methods in general and its sharp point can easily pierce flesh and tissue.

This design of Emei is formed from Acrylic Rods poles with a rotating metal ring attached to the centre of each.

The Tai-Chi Ruler is designed to both aid you in your practice of Tai-Chi as well as serving as a close quarters weapon, increasing the force behind strikes, locks and pressure points. Turned from a single piece of hardwood the Tai-Chi Ruler is as hard-wearing as it is practical. In Tai-Chi practice the Ruler is used to keep ones hands spaced evenly during the practice of form (kata). A great addition to the equipment of any novice seeking to roll their hands fluidly between the various postures that represent the Tai-Chi style.
