Used in a similar method to the Kubotan and yawara the Suntetsu is an unusual and rather undervalued weapon. The simple design of the Suntetsu understates its combative effectiveness. Like the Kubotan and Yawara the Suntetsu can easily be used to increase the efficiency of joint locks, pressure points and striking methods in general, but also allows the user to block weapon strikes with the palm of the hand (Although we do not recoment trying this with live weaponry!!!) This design of Suntetsu is formed from a turned piece of hardwood fitted with a cord loop that the user wears over the middle finger. Approximate Size: 6"
