Created by the master smiths at the Hanwei forge this Gunbai-Dansen (Rigid War-Fan) is a museum quality replica of an Edo period example. Used by Samurai of high rank to direct and command troops, the Gunbai-Dansen was never far from the hand of any Daimyo. The body of the fan is inscribed with a sample of Chinese military philosophy taken from Sun Tzu’s “The Art Of War” a text prized by both Japanese and Chinese tacticians for many centuries. Overall Length: 18" Design may vary slightly from that illustrated.
