than its forged steel counterparts but is just as well balanced.
The Same (Rayskin) within the Tsuka (Handle) is authentic and traditional. As are the bamboo Mekugi
(Pegs) that hold the Nakago (Tang) into the Tsuka (Handle). The Habaki (Blade Collar) and Menuki (Handle Ornaments) are formed
from copper and all fitting on the sword carry the ocean wave iconography. The Tsuka Ito (Handle Binding) is formed from high
quality black cotton.

carry the austere Musashi iconography. The Tsuka Ito (Handle Binding) is formed from high quality black suede leather.
The Tsuba (Sword Guard) on this Katana is made to replicate that said to have been favoured
by the great Musashi Miyamoto himself.

(Tang) into the Tsuka (Handle). The Habaki (Blade Collar) and Menuki (Handle Ornaments) are formed from Silver and all fittings
on the sword carry the Dancing Crane iconography throughout. The Tsuka Ito (Handle Binding) is formed from high quality black
cotton. Thu Koshirae (Sword Mounts) are created in the Higo-Koshirae style. In accordance to the Higo-Koshirae style the upper
portion of the Saya (Scabbard) is wrapped in Same (Rayskin) before being laquered black and then polished flat to reveal a
pearl-like pattern.
